President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in Berlin, for the German-Ugandan Business Day [two day Business Forum].
President Museveni who is accompanied by First Daughter Diana Museveni Kamuntu, will deliver key note address Trade and Investment.
HE will hold a Keynote address at the German-African Business Day and later hold a meeting with the Min. Dr Gerd Müller, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development and business meeting with about six companies here in Berlin at the Ellington Hotel.
The Business Day is organised by the German–African Business Association (Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft) a foreign trade association that represents German companies and institutions with interests in Africa.
Through its well-established networks, the Association promotes exchange between German and African representatives from both business and politics.
In doing so, the Association advocates a new conception of Africa in Germany: Africa as a continent of opportunity.
The Association provides information about countries and markets and represents the interests of its more than 600 members nationally and internationally with respect to political, economic and media issues.
The Association positions itself as a competent contact point and contributes actively through political dialogue to setting the stage for the successful involvement of German business in Africa.
