The second day for presidential campaigns kicked off on Tuesday.
President Yoweri Museveni, according to the programme released by the NRM Secretariat, will be in Nakasongola district.
Accompanied by the First Lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni, the president will later travel to Amolatar to address more rallies.
Yesterday, Museveni opened his campaigns in Luweero town.
On the other hand, FDC presidential candidate, Kizza Besigye, will be heading to Ntungamo district.
He opened his campaigns yesterday with a mammoth rally in his home town, Rukungiri.
The other powerful contender and former Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi, will be travelling to Mukono town.
He opened his campaigns in Masaka town yesterday.
Mbabazi is running for president for the very first time.
Museveni is running for a fifth term in office having ruled since 1986.
Besigye is running the fourth time in row without winning the presidency.
He stood in 2001, 2006 and 2011 losing all to Museveni.
Other contenders in the race include; Baryamureeba Venansius (Independent), Abed Bwanika (Peoples’ Development Party), Mabirizi Joseph (Independent), Maureen F. Kyalya Waluube (Independent and only female) and Biraaro Buta Benon (Farmers Party of Uganda).
