President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has handpicked youth formerly allied to Amama Mbabazi to serve as spies in the External Security Organisation [ESO].
The youth, we are told, are Janet Anyine and Hassan Mukibi, known members of NRM Poor Youth Forum, a ruling party youth group that supports the former Prime Minister.
The chairman of the NRM Poor Youth Forum, Adam Luzindana, was too reported to had joined Internal Security Organisation [ISO] as a government informer.
When contacted, Luzindana denied the charge as “rubbish”.
“When did I join it [ISO]?” he queried, adding, “If I work for them, why would they expose me?”
“I don’t work in ESO [either].”
However, Insider is aware that Anyine, a close associate of Luzindana for at least 10 years or more is nolonger allied to Mbabazi and so is Mukibi.
Anyine has been appointed by the president as the Deputy Director of External Security Organization.
It is also reported that Anyine and Luzindana worked with the late Noble Mayombo, also a former head of Chieftaincy Military Intelligence (CMI) and the late Internal Affairs minister, Gen Aronda Nyakairima.
Mukibi, on the other hand, who served as the Vice chairman of the Poor youth was named special assistant to Deputy Director ESO [Anyine].
Mukibi was dropped from the vice chair of Poor Youth Forum to national coordinator and later replaced with Isa Kato who occupies the same position.
Disgruntled Mukibi decided to cross to government and serve as a spy.
Security sources confirmed that Anyine and Mukibi were nolonger members of the NRM Poor Youth and were serving officially as ESO operatives.
