President Yoweri Museveni has today left for a 3-day working visit to India. According to the presidential press secretary, Lindah Nabusayi, Museveni will also attend the 3rd India Africa Forum Summit.
The summit seeks stronger economic engagements.
On arrival Museveni will hold bilateral meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on the side lines of the summit.
Ugandan Foreign Minister Hon. Sam Kutesa (the outgoing President of the 69th UN General Assembly) is already in India.
