Museveni extols Japan investors


President Yoweri Museveni has commended the Government of Japan for its cooperation and support towards Uganda’s infrastructure development.

This includes the construction of the bridge across river Nile in Jinja, the tarmac road project from Gulu to Bibia in Northern Uganda and the ongoing fly-over programmes around Kampala City, among others.

The President was speaking during a meeting with the Japanese Special Envoy, Mr. Kazunori Tanaka, who called on him at State House, Entebbe on Friday.

Mr. Kazunori Tanaka, who led his country’s delegation to the swearing-in of President Museveni, is a member of the House of Representatives and Vice-President of Japan – African Union Parliamentary Friendship League.
