THE FDC PARTY PRESIDENT GEN. MUGISHA MUNTU ADDRESS TO WEST BUGANDA FDC DELEGATES IN MASAKA.
THEME: Consolidating Our Achievements and Enhancing Party cohesion.
As a party, we must preach and practice internal party cohesion as a tool to fight and defeat dictatorship.
The first victory over a dictator is Unity but the opposite is true. We must remain united and focused.
Thoughts are seeds in a struggle. We must all have clear and common thoughts on the causes we are fighting for and the kind of a society we want to create. This will help us to endure until we succeed.
You see 10 men who have common objective and discipline are capable of dispersing 100 indisciplined men with different objectives and discipline.
We all know armies succeed because of discipline, training, tactics, and analysis not numbers. These components are essential to our victory as a party.
There is no useless person in a struggle. Those on frontline (infantry) are as important as those operating heavy weaponry from afar, those in the kitchen and those running ambulances. Let us not pass judgements but work together.
Human beings have a tendency of complaining and apportioning blame after failure. But even when we do that,we must do it in a manner of solving the problem and not creating more problems.
