Christian varsity awards Janet, Kagina Masters degrees

Uganda’s First Lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni, has Friday been awarded a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership and Management at Uganda Christian University [UCU].

The First Lady’s graduation ceremony was attended by First Son and Commander of Special Forces Group, Brig Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Also awarded is Allen Kagina, the Uganda National Roads Authority [UNRA] executive director.

Janet and Kagina shared the course with other 14 students who have also graduated.

Among the 14 is Suzan Muhwezi, wife to Information and National Guidance minister, Jim Muhwezi.

She is also a former Senior Presidential Advisor on AGOA and trade.

The UCU 16th graduation ceremony is underway at its campus located in Mukono town along Jinja road.

Janet Kainembabazi Kataaha Museveni born in Bwongyera village in Kajara county, Ntungamo District, Western Uganda to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kataaha, attended Kyamate Primary School, and Bweranyangi Girls’ Senior Secondary School.

Kagina, on the other hand, studied at Gayaza High School, a prestigious, private, boarding, all-girl middle and high school.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology obtained from Makerere University, Uganda’s oldest and largest public university.

She also holds a Masters in Public Administration obtained from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
