Kira municipality member of parliament Ibrahim Ssemujju and Kampala Central member of parliament on Thursday came face to face with each other in the same of their bitter disagreements.
The two on Thursday night appeared on NTV’s On the Spot, a political talkshow hosted by Parick Kamara.
During the debate about parliament expenditure, Nsereko said an MP who cannot afford a car shouldn’t even be in parliament.
“But if you need him there then pay for it. I came in parliament with an expensive car! That money was already appropriated, am being honest,” he said.
In his response, the seemingly humbled Ssemujju said: “There are people who cannot afford to take children to school but an MP thinks even 200m for a car isn’t enough.I’m happy that Nsereko takes back his attacks on FDC and hope he stops being arrogant.”
Further, Ssemujju said if he was sole authority in parliament, he would make Nsereko to stop speaking.
