Lwemiyaga County legislator, Theodore Ssekikubo has sued Masaka Chief Magistrate Samuel Munobe challenging what he claims as unfair treatment.
He filed his case before Justice Lawrence Gidudu, one of the judges hearing election petitions at Masaka High Court.
Through his lawyer Medard Lubega Ssegona, Ssekikubo last week said that Magistrate Munobe has on several occassions unfairly treated him when hearing an election petition filed against him by his longtime rival Patrick Nkalubo.
Nkalubo petition court challenging electoral commission results of the February 18 elections results in which Ssekikubo was declared winner.
It has been a dramatic case with both parties being in and out of court, filing injections against each other.
Justice Gidudu set June 27 as the day when he would deliver his ruling on the matter. He also advised lawyers for both parties to help their clients settle the case out of court.
