President Yoweri Museveni has said some minsters and permanent secretatries defy his orders thus refusing to implemement his pledges.
According to Museveni, some minsters and permanent secretaries whom he didnot name behave like they are untouchables.
President Museveni made the remarks at the weekend while launching crop irrigation scheme at Charles Rutaro’s apple garden where he grows other fruits and vegetables in Kyerero Bukinda sub county Kabale district.
Museveni said his government plans to distribute solar powered water pumps to farmers in different villages in Uganda that shall be used to pump water from wetlands and water streams to crop gardens as one way of promoting crop irrigation for better harvests.
The president assured Ugandans that even if he has defiant ministers his government is very strong, a reason it’s can never be affected by the defiant ministers.
His remarks come just days after he reshuffled 33 permanent secretaries and drop some of them who had served for long in their respective ministries.
