The Minister ofdevelopment has moved to consolidate her support in Bulambuli district by launching door to door campaigns to bolster her support.
The stage is set for Bulambuli district parliamentary campaigns where the incumbent, NRM’s Mrs. Irene Muloni is facing, FDCs Ms Enid Nabukwasi, the independent Ms Sarah Wekomba and another independent Ms Annet Nambozo.
Mrs. Muloni who now moves on foot daily through the villages of Buginyanya, Masira, Bulago, Bunambutye and Bwikonge sub-counties addresses people at their homes and villages to garner votes for her bid to retain Bulambuili district Woman MP seat.
The NRM flag bearer and minister, who yesterday launched her manifesto in Bwikonge, said she would use her position in government to better service delivery in the district.
“The NRM government is keen to work with the rural people and we shall continue to consolidate this as a bench mark of provision of services to rural person. And I am offering myself to you this time in order to consolidate what I started, just give me your vote,” said Mrs. Muloni.
She said door to door campaigns has brought her in touch with the rural families whom she could not access at big rallies.
