Students of Makerere University have gone on strike again.
The students are demonstrating against the scrapping off of Bachelor of Ethics and Human Rights courses.
Makerere university administration recently held a course restructuring process review where the Bachelors of Ethics and Human Rights was made a subject.
The affected students raided the administration building aka Ivory Tower demanding for an explanation.
Walking on barefoot, the students first stormed the university Senate Building before proceeding to the main building demanding to speak with the vice chancellor.
Meanwhile, lecturers too are said to be striking over unpaid allowances.
At the start of April, students protested a requirement to clear at least 60 percent of their tuition fees by the sixth week of the semester and 100 percent by the tenth week.
The university was forced to revoke the policy.
