A student of Journalism and Communication at Makerere University Charity Komuhangi, is reported to have died at Case Clinic in Nakasero after getting involved in an accident.
The incident took place on Saturday when a boda boda she was travelling collided with a speeding car at Lungujja outside Kampala.
The accident left her with broken limbs, pictured ribs and a swelling on her brain.
She was first admitted at was Lubaga Hospital before being transferred to Case Clinic in Nakasero and put under the Intensive Care Unit.
She later passed on at the start of this week and will be buried on Friday at her ancestral home in Kitimba Village in Rukungiri District.
Socialite, businessman passes on
On Wednesday, Richard Kato aka Don Richie Kats, a city socialite and big spender died in a motor accident on his way to Masindi.
Kats who had just celebrated his 30th birthday, was heading to Masindi town for a business deal with his lawyers when their vehicle overturned.
He died on spot. He is survived by his wife Angel Dushime and a five-month-old baby.
Last evening, five legislators sustained wounds hospital after an accident at Namasuba, along Entebbe road.
The Members of Parliament who got involved in the grisly accident include, Jesca Ababiku, Maureen Osoru, Isaac Etuka, Tom Aza and Zaitun Driwavu.
Chris Obore, the communications director parliament said the legislators were travelling in Toyota Noah registration number UAU 490L after meeting President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe.
They were knocked by a taxi and later rushed to Nakasero hospital in Kampala while their vehicle was towed to Katwe police station.
They are currently said to be recovering and out of danger.
