Senegalese Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has won the PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month award for August and September, beating Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Watford’s Etienne Capoue.
The 24-year-old beat his compatriots to the prize by garnering 38,199 votes of the total 78,000 votes cast, making up 49 percent.
De Bruyne came second with 24,340 while Capoue took third with 6,256.
Chelsea’s striker Diego Costa came fourth, as West Ham’s Michail Antonio and Hull City’s Curtis Davies came fifth and sixth respectively.
Mane has three goals and one assist in the Premier League, helping Liverpool to fourth place with 13 points from six games.
