Kyayonka remains brought home




The body of former NSSF Chairman, Ivan Kyayonka, has been flown back home from the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

After its arrival at Entebbe airport, the body was taken to his home in Kololo where a vigil will be held this evening.

Most of Ivan Wambuzi Kyayonka’s family members cannot believe he is gone.

Kyayonka died on Friday after battling a kidney problem for some time.

He was first hospitalised at Kampala Hospital on Monday but worsened upon which he was transferred to International Hospital Kampala (IHK) the next day.

He was late that day flown to Nairobi for better treatment but never made it back alive.

A funeral service will be held for him at St Luke’s Church in Ntinda tomorrow.

Burial will take place at his ancestral home at Igeyero in Mayuge District, on Tuesday.

Kyayonka was the CEO Magoba Holdings Limited.
