Kyala: Busoga should now stop bothering me

Maureen Faith Kyalya not to represent Busoga when Museveni gives her a job.

After she miserably was beaten hands down in the previously held presidential elections, Kyala blamed and lashed at Busoga saying,

“They (Basoga) should be ashamed. I have spent 9 years helping the people of Busoga. Now that they did not vote for me, they should now stop bothering me. They say Basoga matures at the age 45,” who polled a miserly 586 votes in the region.

During this same time, Princess Maureen Faith Kyala went on to brag how she performed better than Go Forward Amama Mbabazi considering her challenges and covering fewer districts than him.

“In my assessment, I did better than Amama Mbabazi because despite the hardships I covered over 30 districts on a smaller budget,” she boasted.

Mbabazi came third with 132,574 votes representing 1.4% of the total votes while Kyalya secured 0.4% despite not being able to cover all the 112 districts in the country.

Kyalya also congratulated President Museveni on his victory but was highly critical of the polls which she said were flawed.

She also asked Museveni to keep his end of the bargain after she claimed he promised her a job.

“I promised him a job if I won and I don’t mind working with him” Kyalya said.
