Kenzo humiliated at Chameleone’s concert

Musician Eddy Kenzo on Friday suffered the humiliation of his life after being locked out at Jose Chameleone’s Wale Wale concert.

The ugly episode happened on Friday at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds where Chameleone was hold the Wale Wale Double Trouble concert.

Dixon Okello, the Event Security Manager, tells The Insider that he issued security guidelines for the concert clearly stating that only security, organisers, ambulance, fire truck and Chameleone (4 cars) would be allowed to park at the venue.

All other artistes and the general public parked at UMA grounds and Shoprite and walked to the venue through the main gate, Okello explains.

“Eddy Kenzo, as usual felt special and thought he would drive in through the VIP gate,” he narrates.

The enraged Okello refused to open the VIP gate and told Kenzo to use the main gate (walking like others).

“He was arrogant.”

After refusing to heed the advice, Okello then gave instructions to Counter Terrorism police officers to chase Kenzo away from the concert.

“He didn’t perform.”

Kenzo is one of Uganda’s fastest rising musicians.
