KCCA installs property numbers in Kampala

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has started installing property numbers across Kampala to make it easier for citizens to locate places in the City.

This will enable citizens identify all buildings/properties in Kampala by their unique numbers which will also enhance service delivery for service providers.

The project which started in September this year is part of the KCCA City address model which involves naming all roads, streets and access roads as well as assigning numbers to all houses in the city.

Shortly after she had been appointed by president Yoweri Museveni as KCCA executive director, Jennifer Musisi in 2012 said part of her plan was beautify the city and make navigation easier for the dwellers by installing property numbers.
