Forum for democratic change’s former presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye has been arrested at his home in Kasangati.
The news reaching our desk reveal that Besigye lost his temper when his friends who had come to visit him at his home were blocked by police, an act that forced him to move out of the gate.
Besigye tried to plead with the police to let his visitors in but the police refused. Besigye then ordered police to leave his home since it is not their station.
In exchange of bitter words, he was grabbed and whisked away to Naggalama police station with with his driver Kato Fred and Christine Behimbisa.
However according to eyewitnesses Besigye was arrested in the same brutal manner as the 28th, April, 2011 assault on him at the Mulago round about. That assault that almost rendered him blind to the point where he sought medical attention from the Agha Khan hospital in Kenya.
