There was a fracas at Nakawa court on Tuesday as friends to the late Johnnie Ahimbisibwe tried to get their hands on Ivan Kamyuka.
Kamyuka, 33, re-appeared in court for the mention of a case in which he is accused of murdering Johnnie.
Prosecution alleges that Kamukya murdered a one Johnnie Ahimbisibwe on a night at industrial area based Guvnor on August 2, 2015.
The Johnnie’s friends stormed the court donning black T-shirts with the words “R.I.P Ahimbisibwe” threatening to deal with Kamyuka there and then.
They group caused a fracas but was barred by security from shedding fresh blood.
Earlier in the month Nakawa court Grade One magistrate, Christine Nantege, charged Kamyuka with murder contrary to Section 188 and 124 of the Penal Code Act, as per the charge sheet presented by Senior State Attorney Julius D. Tuhairwe.
Magistrate Nantege read Kamyuka’s charges and sent him back to Luzira on remand as investigations continue.

Kamyuka was not allowed to take plea as the matter can only be tried by High Court.
He will return to court on September 3, 2015.
