Kampala partiers and socialites will be heading to Club Liquid Silk tomorrow, Wednesday May 25, 2016 for a treat of drumbeats.
The event codenamed “drum clinic” will get underway tomorrow night at the Village Mall [Lugogo] based club.
According to organisers, entry to the event will be free of charge for all.
Monica Aketch, the Managing Director of Afrost Events, says the evening will be one to remember.
Aketch says there will be lots of wine and nice meals for guests.
The Acacia Mall Kisementi based Didi Communication Management is putting the show together.
Partiers will be entertained by one of the best jazz artists including; Erick Smith (Norway), Joseph Hellon (Kenya), Brian Mugenyi (Uganda) and Banana Zoro (TZ).
Friday concert at Golf Course
The “Jazz & Beats” who include jazz artists, percussionists and instrumentalists, will be holding their main event at Golf Course hotel in Kampala on Friday May 27, 2016.
Very Important Persons [VIP] tickets will go for Shs200,000 while ordinary tickets will be selling at Shs100,000.
The “Jazz & Beats” are on their African tour sponsored by Afrost Events.
Twenty percent of the proceedings from the concert will be donated to the Starkey Foundation to provide hearing aids to the needy children in East Africa.
Eric Smith also intends to use the tour to nurture talent especially in East Africa and Africa at large.
Eric has performed in North Africa and South Africa and this time round will be performing in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
