David Sseremba, a well-known Computer expert and IT senior consultant in Uganda, Kampala, is wanted by top government security agencies over a flopped work deal.
It is now over a year since Sseremba got missing and expected to be on the run for his dear life to escape the wrath of his tormentors.
Sseremba was arrested in 2013 after turning down a bad deal that was given to him by a certain security agency, to spy on his boss .
Insiders in the security circles have told us, Sseremba was so closely working with Uganda Youth Platform that works hand in hand with renegade UPDF Gen. David Sejusa, a former coordinator of intelligence organizations in Uganda, the author of the Mohoozi project letter that caused shock waves in the people of Uganda, this also led to the closure of two media houses, the Monitor Uganda and the Red Pepper Uganda.
After days search and closure of the media houses, the search turned to the IT communication specialist David Sseremba.
This led to his arrest and he was tortured to reveal his deals with Sejusa and the Uganda Youth Platform but all in vain.
Later, he was given a deal to spy Sejusa and fellow youth in the platform which he primarily agreed to do, for his life.
He later escaped from the jaws of these security operatives and a search was launched to find him and get him arrested.
The Uganda Youth platform is an Organization started by the youth of Uganda to help them solve their own problems.
It’s aimed at solving numerous problems facing the youth of Uganda. With unemployment of over 80%, of the youth in Uganda, the Lack of education by many of the youth, and the lack of the skills required in the modern day job markets, Technical experts like Sseremba David and others came together to put help empower own youth.
Our sources in security say, on his arrest, Sseremba will be treated as a traitor over refusal to spy fellow youth in the platform and Gen. Sejusa.
