International Police (Interpol) has issued red notices against six Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) commanders.
They include; Richard Mukulu, 29, Musa Shabani Bisimwa alias Alfred, 33, Muzee Nganda, alias Jamil Muzzanganda, 57, Praida Baluku, alias Braida, 39, Hakim Hakim, 48, and Ali Mobile, 32.
In a statement quoted by Daily Monitor, Interpol said Richard Mukulu, one of the surviving commanders is suspected to be the son of Jamil Mukulu, the ADF commander who was arrested in Tanzania in April 2015.
The six suspects are wanted on charges ranging from crimes against humanity, rape, murder, forced enlistment of children into armed rebellion, participating in an insurrection and sex slavery.
It said the six are also wanted by the judicial authorities of Congo (Democratic Republic of Congo) on similar charges.
Interpol’s red notice seeks the location and arrest of wanted persons with a view to extradition or similar lawful action.
The director International Police (Uganda), Asan Kasingye, told the newspaper he had received the notices and that Uganda would execute them.
