Huawei excites Miss Uganda boot camp with goodies

Huawei Consumer Business Group (Uganda) a partner in Miss Uganda 2016, today October 11th 2016 excited the Miss Uganda finalists at boot camp with an assortment of goodies.

The 21 Miss Uganda finalists boot camping at The Carnival were tasked by Sam Cris Ayo, Device Service Manager, Huawei Uganda to use the Huawei P9 smartphone to take exciting pictures from which eight (8) best shots were eventually selected as winning shots.

The overall best photo which captured a glamorously photographed vintage car in black and white was taken by Nalwoga Bridget who received among other prizes a brand-new Huawei designer laptop bag.

Speaking during the event, Ayo explained that Huawei P9 is mainly targeted to the fashionable and trendy customers who love professional photography.

The smartphone features two rear-facing camera lenses made in conjunction with Leica Camera AG, he noted that the P9 camera comes with more light and better clarity and better photo editing capacities that enable one to capture detailed high quality pictures both in good and low light conditions.

Huawei Uganda contributed a sponsorship package of 20 Million Ushs worth P9 smartphones and cash towards the organization of the Miss Uganda 2016.

Sam Cris Ayo, Huawei Device Services Manager concluded by thanking the Miss Uganda 2016 beauty queens on participating in the Miss Uganda Huawei P9 photo contest.

He explained that by using Huawei’s latest flagship -P9, the beauty queens will ably represent the 2016 Miss Uganda theme through great quality pictures clearly capturing their journey since the P9 is all about re-inventing smartphone photography.

The theme for Miss Uganda 2016 is beauty with a purpose with an inclination to promoting agriculture as part of their agenda.

The search for Miss Uganda 2016 is expected to climax with a grand finale on 15th October 2016 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
