Police and bodaboda riders stand off in Kyebando

It has been a moment of survival for the fittest earlier this morning in Kyebando Serbs of Kampala as police was trying to disperse angry Bodaboda riders.

The Bodaboda riders were complaining about the unlawful conduct by the police used while confiscating their motor cycles.

Police has recently been impounding Bodaboda’s in and around kampala that are not registered buy the authority.

In the move by the Bodaboda riders to show their desertification, the had to oppose police orders and instead resorted to throwing stones to the officers something that forced them to launch tear gas to the crowds.

This act had to paralise transport along the Nothern Bypass in the slums of Bwaise, Kalerwe among others.

Several other Bodaboda were also impounded in the process.
