President Yoweri Museveni’s son, Major Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has been sued before the High Court in Kampala over missing officer.

In a case before Justice Yasin Nyanzi, Margret Nabagesera claims her husband staff sergeant Achilles Mukalazi Kyobe, is still missing.

He was arrested two months ago after he applied for another job.

Nabagesera sued both the Special Forces Command (SFC) under the leadership of Gen Muhoozi and the Attorney General (AG) asking court to compel the two to produce her missing husband.

According to the suit, Nabagesera her husband’s woes started when United Nations (UN) advertised a vacancy for an air operation officer.

Kyobe who was attached to SFC Kasenyi cell picked interest and consulted his immediate supervisor in the military Captain Michael Obella, who reportedly gave him a go-ahead to apply.

Kyobe, who has served the army for over 20 years, reportedly sat for oral interviews for the said job on March 23, 2016.

In her affidavit, Nabagesera   swears that as soon as her husband was out of the interview room, he received a phone call from the said Captain Michael Obella summoning him to the Special Forces Command brigade operations.

Kyobe was reportedly told that he had not followed the proper procedures for applying for another.

He was asked to record a statement.

Shortly after writing the statement, he was taken to the Special Forces Command, Kasenyi, and detained and that is where he is said to be held.
