Generals Kale Kayihura and Elly Tumwine joined friends and family of Entebbe Municipality MP Rose Tumusiime for the send-off of her daughter.
Doreen Tashobya who was killed in an accident on Tuesday was buried at the weekend in Kasambya village in Gomba district.
Police in Entebbe managed to arrest Fred Sekibengo, the driver of a truck that is said to have knocked and killed Doreen Tashobya and her cousin Patrick Busingye.
Rubaga Miracle Centre Pastor Robert Kayanja on Wednesday held a requiem mass for the deceased in Entebbe.
The police chief who also attended the mass said the accident had been as a result of reckless driving.
Tashobya was a niece to the Inspector General of Police who now promised to re-introduce speed governor in cars regulation, which had been suspended.
Earlier Wednesday, President Yoweri Museveni also visited the MP’s home to pay tribute to her fallen daughter.
On Saturday, Kayihura was joined by Tumwine and Members of Parliament and other government officials including; Government Chief Whip Ruth Nakabirwa, Wakiso Woman Member of Parliament and Minister for Primary Education Hon. Rose Mary Sseninde, among others to bid farewell to the brilliant girl who left this world rather too soon.
