The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) in the UPDF General Katumba Wamala has called upon Ugandans to massively rally their support behind the Uganda Cranes in the crucial AFCON 2017 qualifier game against Comoros on September 3,  at Namboole stadium.

The CDF was speaking to the people who took part in the Seeta Archdeaconry ‘House of the Lord Marathon’ 2016 that took place on Saturday morning shortly after the race that climaxed with awarding the winners.

“I am calling upon you to turn up in big numbers, carry any vessel that produces sound from Vuvuzelas, drums and anything else such that we make a statement to our opponents that Uganda is a great nation. He went ahead and thanked for cheerfully contributing to the work of the Lord instead of waiting on the government. ‘Thank you for starting the effort to see that the house of the Lord is completed.’

“I am especially happy with the children who took part in the marathon, this exercise is going to help you a lot and please you do it on a regular basis.”
