FUFA backs him
The FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo once again revealed that Uganda is behind the candidature of Mulindwa.
During the FUFA weekly press conference held at FUFA House, in Mengo on Wednesday, Magogo said: “The FUFA Executive nominated Mr. Lawrence Mulindwa and we pledge full support for him.”

“We believe Mr Mulindwa has the ability to move CECAFA forward. This is based from his works at FUFA.”
“The FUFA Executive Committee took a position to nominate Mr Lawrence Mulindwa and pledge full support for him.”
The FUFA President also dismissed rumours that Uganda is not going to support Mulindwa.
