FUFA backs him

The FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo once again revealed that Uganda is behind the candidature of Mulindwa.

During the FUFA weekly press conference held at FUFA House, in Mengo on Wednesday, Magogo said: “The FUFA Executive nominated Mr. Lawrence Mulindwa and we pledge full support for him.”

He further added that; “FUFA will garner for support from the other Member Football Associations in the region to vote for Mr Lawrence Mulindwa because his victory won’t be individual but for the Uganda as a nation.”

“We believe Mr Mulindwa has the ability to move CECAFA forward. This is based from his works at FUFA.”

“The FUFA Executive Committee took a position to nominate Mr Lawrence Mulindwa and pledge full support for him.”

The FUFA President also dismissed rumours that Uganda is not going to support Mulindwa.

“I am one of the two delegates representing Uganda at the CECAFA Congress on Friday and I will cast the vote on behalf of FUFA. Vice President Darius Mugoye will also travel to Ethiopia.”
