President Yoweri Museveni received and met Former President of the Republic of Botswana, H.E Dr. Ketsumile Masire (left) at State House Entebbe last evening.
H.E Ketsumile is in Uganda for an International conference on governance and service delivery in developing economies, focusing on coming up with practical strategies for improving governance processes, curbing corruption and improving service delivery.
The conference is organised by Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
Also yesterday, the president received credentials from UAE Ambassador to Uganda, H.E Abdallah Mohammed Abdallahal Takkawi.
The president also received the Israel Ambassador to Uganda, H.E Yahel Vilan and Qatar Ambassador to Uganda, H.E Abraham Bin Mohamed Al-Abdulla.
“You’re most welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa,” the president told the envoys.
He later met with the Executive Director of UNEP Mr. Achim Steiner and Alhaji M. Jallow of FAO.
