Fire has this afternoon gutted a building in Kikuubo business centre in down town Kampala.
The cause of the fire is still unknown but suspected to have been sparked by electricity.
According to those at the scene, fire trucks and fire fighters are already doing whatever it takes to put out the fire.
The roads leading to downtown are said to have been blocked to allow the execution of the exercise.
The extent of damage is still unknown but property worth millions of shillings is said to have already been destroyed.
Only this morning, fire broke out at Black Cottages at Nyanama along Entebbe road.
Police Fire Brigade officer, Joseph Mugisha, told a local radio, KFM, that they had managed to contain the fire.
Last evening, fire brigade rushed to Najjera One in Kira Town Council where fire gutted a building destroying a cobbler’s workshop.
The fire was however put out before causing a lot of damage or spreading to other buildings.
