The Forum for Democratic Party (FDC) has launched a reloaded mobilisation and party strengthening program set to start on Tuesday 22nd November.
The party spokesman Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda says they want to re-energize their party leaders at district levels and at the grassroots to fight dictatorship in the country.
The programme starts in Ankole region in Mbarara and will have 15 (two days) regional workshops and 15 rallies whose program will run up to the end of January 2017.
This nation wide party activity is running on the Theme: “Strengthening FDC to consolidate our achievements and enhance party cohesion”.
Though police has always blocked opposition party activities, Ssemujju says he has notified police about the programme and therefore expects no interruption.
The FDC party president Gen Mugisha Muntu, Col Dr Kizza Besigye and other leaders will all be present for both the workshops and Rallies throughout the country.
