Over the weekend, Nganda, the FDC MP for Kyadondo East was arrested enroute to Rukungiri where Kizza Besigye had a rally.
He was alongside other MPs detained at Lyantonde police station.
Police once more moved early Thursday morning to block the home of Nganda after getting wind that the opposition officials meant to escort their flag bearer to eastern Uganda for a rally.
Cops did not stop at sealing off the legislator’s home in Bweyogerere along Jinja road.
He was later picked as he tried to leave his home, thrown onto a police truck and driven off by security operatives.
Nganda was arrested along with The Observer photojournalist, Alfred Ochwo.
They are currently detained at Nagalama police station in Mukono district.
