A few months after quitting the Luzira based Nile Breweries limited, Shem Semambo, is said to have scooped a juicy job with USAID Uganda.
Commonly known as Kagutunda for his amazing skills in selling beer, Semambo is joining USAID as the Economic Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
As you read this, he has already embarked on his duties at the Kampala offices.
Shem tendered in his resignation at the Luzira based brewery a few months ago after turning down an offer to serve until 31st August.
He had given his eighteen years of dedicated and superb service to the breweries.
We hear USAID’s deal was too good to turn down.
In Uganda, USAID implements three major U.S. presidential initiatives: Feed the Future, the Global Health Initiative and the Global Climate Change Initiative.
