Former Miss Uganda Leah Kalanguka seems to be leading the race for World Next Top Model crown, according to the online votes we have seen.
Leah, who hails from Busoga region, was the 2014/15 Miss Uganda beauty queen.
She was succeeded by Zahara Muhammad Nakiyaga, the current Miss Uganda 2015/16.
Leah has not stopped at just that; she is now looking beyond Uganda to an international platform.
She is now battling 43 other beauty queens from across the world for the top crown.
Miss World Next Top Model is an International Beauty and Modelling contest for models worldwide that was founded in 2010.
The pageant is decided by majority vote and Leah is so far leading with 1284 votes followed by a Brasil contestant with 1233 votes.
The voting deadline is on May 31, 2016.
Uganda can win this too; if Leah makes it to the top three, she will win a modelling contract with MTV Agency.
