Former police spokesperson, Judith Nabakoba, yesterday picked the NRM nomination forms to contest for Mityana Woman Member of Parliament in the upcoming NRM primaries.
Nabakooba who has currently been the deputy Police Political Commissar and resigned to contest for the Mityana seat, has been frequenting the districts and has almost been attending every event in the districts.
On top of several donations, she has also contributed greatly to the community groups.
A source from Mityana told this website that Sylvia Namabidde who currently represents the district, has failed to deliver to the community and angered many residents who asked “bummy” Nabakooba to come to their rescue.
Nabakooba has been doing ground work with influential political big wigs of Mityana who have introduced her to the people.
After picking her nomination forms, Nabakooba said she wants to go and uplift the development of her home district since it has been lagging behind in terms of development.
“Although a number of things have been done in our district but still when you go to the ground, you realise that we have challenges,” she said.
“My focus will be looking at those challenges and also enhancing what the government has put in place.”
