Employees kill boss over delayed payment

Police in Buikwe District in central Uganda is investigating circumstances under which workers killed their boss in cold blood for allegedly not paying them salaries in time.

Abbey Kabwisa’s life was reportedly cut shot by two of his employees at his farm in Bunyagira village.

They are said to have beaten him to death before disappearing in thin air.

Police said it has started looking for the suspect’s who will be arraigned in court and charged with murder upon their arrest.

According to the OC CID Fauzia Nakyandiba, the deceased who was also a mechanic in Ndeeba, in Uganda’s capital Kampala, had on the fateful day(Tuesday) gone to his farm to pay his employees after being away for about three months.

On seeing their boss, the workers started shouting at him, asking where he had been and why he had taken long to pay their salaries.

They seemingly angry employees reportedly grabbed him and hacked him to death using machetes even when he pleaded for mercy saying he wanted to explain.
