Electricity shocks 4 at Musisi carnival


Electricity has Sunday shocked four people who were attending the Kampala city carnival.

This breathtaking incident occurred at the Movit products stage on Jinja road in front of Bank of Africa.

Witnesses say due to overcrowding, there was a stampede that led to a disconnection of the wire that was transmitting power to the plasma screen.
The music was first stopped for about fifteen minutes as panic spread across terrified onlookers.

The situation was quickly resolved by security without serious casualties.

Later, the performances continued after with Dax Kartel exciting the revellers.

The music system was hired from JJ Sounds.

The festival was organised by Kampala Capital Authority (KCCA) executive director Jennifer Musisi.
