DStv stands by Blankets and Wine


The 14th edition of Blankets and Wine slated for 25th September 2016 will once again see DStv sponsor the prestigious social event on Kampala’s calendar.

This time around the Pay TV brand has pledged to completely overhaul the kids play area which has been rebranded to the ‘DStv kid’s village’.

Children are expected to come dressed as their favourite cartoon characters on any of the DStv channels. Popular cartoon mascots will also be in tow to take pictures with the kids.

It will be an experience like no other for the children who will take part in a number of competitive games.

Following DStv’s maiden sponsorship of the event in July 2016 the brand has also promised their other customers an experience in the exclusive DStv tent.

Phoebe Nakabazzi, marketing manager DStv said ‘Customers should brace themselves for another memorable experience in our tent. We shall ensure that DStv customers leave feeling special and totally DStv absorbed’.

Nakabazzi added ‘Between 19th September 2016 and 24th September customers who purchase our high definition decoder – the Explora at the MultiChoice head office in Kololo will win themselves a ticket to the Blankets and Wine event.

It’s our way of linking our fantastic product to the most sought after event in Kampala. Applications such as Catch Up and BoxOffice – the movie rental application make it an appealing must have product at only UGX 277,000 for the decoder only’.

DStv will boost the sought after Blankets and Wine event, amplifying entertainment by bringing showbiz closer to life for the fans.
