Democratic Party President, Norbert Mao, has been admitted at International Hospital Kampala.
Mao was admitted on Monday after he developed complications.
Kenneth Paul Kakande, the acting DP spokesperson, told press in Kampala that it was not true Mao had gone in a coma as some people were insinuating.
Last year, Mao was rushed to the Kenyan capital Nairobi for treatment.
He stabilised after being treated by experts at Nairobi Hospital.
DP Secretary General, Mathiaus Nsubuga, said Mao had a malaria attack and severe chest pains.
He was first admitted at Lacor hospital before doctors recommended that he is flown to Kenya for better medical attention.
When he returned from Nairobi, Mao took leave of office as Party President saying doctors had advised him to get enough rest.
He had just returned from his leave, only to go down again.
