Tanzania’s Bongo Flava singer, Diamond Platinumz, has dismissed as ridiculous a claim laid by Rich Gang’s King Lawrence on the newly born, Zari Hassan’s daughter, Tiffah.
A South African sangoma, King also Zari’s former husband, Ivan Ssemwanga’s relative directed his lawyers Web Advocates & Solicitors, to ask Zari for a paternity test of the new born saying the child could be his.
The suit seeks to compel Zari to do three DNA tests in Uganda, South Africa and USA to establish the child’s true paternity in seven days.
Diamond and Zari seem not to be threatened by this new impediment to their love life.
The couple was last seen in pictures enjoying themselves at their home gym at the Diamond’s mansion in Tegeta Dar es Salaam.
Diamond’s manager, Babu Tale told The Citizen, that “they were undisturbed”.
He said the lawsuit was a threat from “guys who were out to look for publicity.”
“I don’t think, it is appropriate for us to say anything because we know what the truth is so they can just carry on with the threat,” said Babu Tale told the newspaper.
In what seems like a jibe at King, Zari posted on Facebook: “Revenge is for the petty. A BO$$ LADY knows that the misery a hater has to live with as they watch her happiness & success is enough punishment. Gotta give ma back to all that BS out there.? #iStaySlaying coz people only dim a light that’s too bright for them. Blessed Tuesday my happy followers.”
Yet, King says he is ready to meet all associated costs involved in DNA testing to clear this one and for all.
Zari and Diamond’s relationship kicked off in October 2014 leaving the singer’s former girlfriend, Wema Sepetu, heartbroken.
