Opposition leader Kizza Besigye has told press at his home in Kasangati Wakiso district that FDC’s defiance campaign will not stop.
Besigye said today, Uganda Police Force put up a show at the party headquarters in a move to stop the Black Tuesday prayers.
At Najjankumbi, Police blocked any one from entering or exiting the building.
Pastor Happy Ngabo, Dr. Stella Nyanzi, Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and many others including our staff: Joel Bbosa, Deo Kizito, Chairman Makindye Division and Obed Sserunjogi were arrested and taken away by Uganda Police Force.
“The Blue bicycle found at our HQ was not spared either.”
FDC party said Besigye did not have any thoughts of leaving his residence today for Najjankumbi as he was consumed in a strategic meeting.
Flanked by Owek. Joyce Ssebugwawo, Deputy Party President and Amb. Birigwa, party Chairman, Besigye pointed out: “If you declare yourself as a leader of people and they have not elected for you, they will defy. This is the epitome of abuse of power and criminality of our institutions to simply brutalise people who are going to pray.”
Besigye said he hoped all right thinking citizens will condemn it, and all citizens of the world.

“Let it be known that this defiance campaign is not going to stop whatsoever. There is no way you are going to stop defiance.”
This defiance campaign is not a Besigye’s defiance, he said, adding that it is the citizens campaign defying injustice.
“Justice Steven Kavuma decreed that its criminal to address the media but you are all here and I am addressing you. That is defiance.”
The order by Justice Kavuma will go down in the annals of judicial history as the most ridiculous, the retired colonel noted/
“Let it be clear that this defiance campaign will go on until the National Resistance Movement – NRM regime collapses. It will go down. If this country belongs to Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, he will prevail, if it belongs to Ugandans, citizens will prevail.”
