Comedian floors Lukyamuzi as FDC’s Mwijukye wins

FDC activist, Francis Mwijukye has beaten Ephraim Biraaro to seize Buhweju MP seat, according to the provisional results released so far.

Also in Buhweju district, Olive Koyekyenga and independent walloped NRM’s flag bearers Alison Byamukama.

In Tororo municipality Apollo Yeri Ofwono kicked out Tanna Sanjay.

In Lubaga South, comedian Kato Lubwama kicked out and Conservative Party president, Ken Lukyamuzi.

In Makindye West, councillor Allan Ssewanyana prevailed over Kyanjo Hussein.

In Ntenjeru South, Fred Kabaseke beat Patrick Nasanja.

The Kabale municipality seat was taken by Andrew Baryayanga.

In the Kasese Woman M race, Winfred Kiiza emerged winner.

In Rukiga West, Herbert Kabafunzaki kicked out FDC’s Jack Sabiiti.

In the Kabale Woman MP race, Catherine Ndamira kicked out incumbent Ronah Ninsiima.

The Busujju county seat was taken by Vincent Nyanzi.

In Sheema Woman MP race, Jacklet Atuhaire kicked out Rosemary Nyakikongoro, the incumbent.

In Moroto county, Sam Okwir defeated Rebecca Otengo.

Mrs Betty Muzaanira was also elected the Woman MP Rukungiri district.

More results are still coming in until the electoral commission officially announces the final winners on Saturday.
