Senior journalist, Chris Obore, has Wednesday taken an oath as new the Director Information at Parliament.
Obore, a Monitor Publications affiliated KFM Radio D’Mighty Breakfast Show host, was given the job last month.
He is a director at the directorate of information, recently created by the legislative house.
Obore is an investigative journalist and former Daily Monitor political editor.
He also hosts the KFM Hard Talk, a political talk show on weekends.
While accepting the job, Obore, 40, said it was an “opportunity to serve my country in another capacity” after doing his part as a journalist.
He said the new role would be done in line with the established procedures by the Commission, Government Standing Orders and the Constitutional commands, a new challenge he would give his best.
