Singer Jose Chameleone says there is a group of “monkeys” that is working tirelessly to bring him (the legend) down.
In his April 18, Facebook post, the Leone Island boss said he was “sorry to be a bit rigid but also glad to express my gratitude to all those with positive minds to support good works with good intentions”.
“There is a group of MONKEYS doing efforts on pulling down a LEGEND!” he stated.
He added: “My story was made of good works and Loyalty to everyone relevant in my struggle.”
He told the monkeys that they were plainly declaring their weaknesses by promoting false allegations on how he was beaten in Nairobi.
“I am fully charged to show the difference between King and Prince. I say again, work on your brand and put mine aside because I am the man you dream to be someday.”
Chameleone’s branding of rivals as “monkeys” comes at the same time a Lebanese telecom, Africell is being accused by former employees of calling them “monkeys and African idiots”.
After telling off the monkeys, Chameleone used the occasion to promote his Wale Wale concert whose venue has been changed from Lugogo Cricket Oval to Kyadondo Rugby Club.
According to our sources, the change in venue followed the advice of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) on grounds that Lugogo Cricket Oval has failed to construct toilets and that it cannot entertain poor hygiene.
It is reported that the event sponsored by Balaam was then opted for Kyandondo after talks with KCCA and Leone Island.
Wale Wale Concert is slated for May 1, 2015.
