CBS radio sports analyst and Bukedde TV “Kadongo Kamu” presenter, Mark Makumbi, has died.
Makumbi died this morning at Mulago Cancer Institute where he was hastily rushed by his brother in a critical condition.
Makumbi was diagnosed with intestine cancer in September, 2015.
The ‘Endaga Butonde’ singer was first admitted at Mulago Cancer institute in November the same year after failing to eat or drink.
He received treatment at Mulago and was advised to seek medical help outside Uganda.
He was later discharged and sent to his home in Masanafu, Kampala suburbs, to continue taking prescribed drugs.
He has also been looking for the money to get treatment abroad.
It should be remembered that Cancer has claimed over five presenters and musicians including the late Harriet Kisakye, legendary news anchors; Dan Kyazze, Baale Francis and the late NTV news anchor, Rosemary Nankabirwa.
