People’s Development Party Presidential Candidate, Dr Abed Bwanika, has dismissed reports claiming he would hold joint rallies with former Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi.
Bwanika was Tuesday campaigning in Yumbe district in Northern Uganda.
Reports indicated that Bwanika would campaign with Amama in the same district and hold joint rallies.
“Mbabazi is not supposed to be in Yumbe. He is supposed to be in Koboko,” Bwanika protested.
“How can I have same rallies with him. I can’t campaign with Mbabazi. He is looking for his votes and am looking for mine.”
Bwanika said Mbabazi called him to find out if he can do a rally in Yumbe where he was scheduled to speak.
“I heard the Go Forward group claiming that I have a joint rally with them in Yumbe. That cannot happen.”
