Uganda Federal Alliance president, Beti Kamya, has been duly nominated to run for Lubaga North Constituency MP seat.

Kamya served as Lubaga north MP on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket from 2006 until 2010.

She is back to resume the same seat in 2016 general elections.

Comedian Kato Lubwama was also nominated to take on Lubaga South parliamentary MP, Ken Lukyamuzi.

Lubwama resigned at CBS Radio to run for Member of Parliament.

In Mpigi, Sarah Nakawunde, the incumbent Woman MP faces two rivals who have already been nominated to run against her.

Former Vice President, Gilbert Bukenya, has been nominated for Busiro North MP as an independent candidate.

Judith Babirye has been nominated for Buikwe Woman MP seat.

Babirye was announced elected NRM flag for Buikwe Woman MP after beating incumbent Dorothy Mpima in the October primaries.

Minister Sam Engola’s wife, Betty Angola, has been nominated for Apac Woman MP seat.
