Opposition FDC has asked Ugandans to boycott a group of 12 musicians who composed a song praising the president.
Titled “Tubonga Nawe”, the song was launched by President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe before campaigns for the 2016 elections kicked off.
The team led by Bebe Cool, a Museveni diehard was paid about Shs1.5bn to popularise the president across the country.
At the moment, the musicians are facing negative criticism from their fans who accuse them of “selling the country”.
Fans have not only threatened but went ahead to boycott them.
