Kabale Chief Magistrates Court has adjourned a case involving opposition leader Kizza Besigye and Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago to May.

Besigye and Lukwago are accused of inciting violence during their rally at Kabale Municipality Stadium in 2012.

In September last year, Kabale Chief Magistrate, Agatonica Mbabazi issued arrest warrants for political activists in the For God and my Country (4GC) activism group.

Other suspects affected by the warrants are FDC women league leader Ingrid Turinawe and Rukungiri Municipality MP Roland Mugume.

Prosecution claims Besigye and others injured four police officers and vandalized three police vehicles.

The case has been adjourned to 6th May 2016 after it emerged the trial magistrate was on leave.
